Elle Milano: The Demon Barbers of Fleet Street
This week, we have been mostly been listening to Biffy Clyro and Lightspeed Champion rekkids in the van as demonstrated below.
We played an rockin' show in London on tuesday at the 'Old Blue Last' where I discovered a new energy beverage that sent me 2000 years into the future, its suitably called Rockstar. It kept me buzzing for about 24 hours at the very least so make sure those of you who are thinking of trying it, plan ahead before consuming. Also thanks to everyone who came along and cheered relentlessly between songs, it really added to the euphoria of that beverage.
Check out Adams afro here
Us looking sweaty and mean after the show
Our next gig is at Pressure Point, Brighton and will be MEGA cause we're playing with our good friends Maths Class and Heels Catch Fire, the cream of the Brighton scene yes? So get yourself down to that and then probably to Audio after for some serious dance floor action.
Now, in order to remain at the top of our game, not only do we drink rockstar, but we have to employ a vigorous rehearsal schedule which keeps us both physically fit, and musically equipped so here are some photos of us hard at it
Last week we finally got hold of promo copies of our forthcoming album "Acres Of Dead Space Cadets" and it looks a bit like this
As you can tell by our happy happy faces, we are very excited by this as it's been a LONG time coming!
Watch this space for more info on our next single and release dates etc.
Im gonna try and edit together a video of our recording sessions in kent from way back when, using the very limited footage I have on my digital camera.... Quite a challenge I think. If it's any good i'll post it here at some point.
May I also suggest y'all go and watch Sweeney Todd, you won't regret it... unless you're not a fan of throat slitting.

News Update: January 08 - Lovin’ it!
Bonjour tout le monde,
2007 eh? what a load of shite. I'm not gonna evaluate what sort of year we've had, you can make your own conclusions, but after being in a depressive rut for a few months we have now regained our Chi and feel good about the world again. Lucky us.
Yes, yes. There are now less people and more gadgets in Elle Milano, which is just how we like it. We have refound our love for making a big fuck-off racket, have got our live show together, and settled into our new location in Brighton just fine.
Our finished, packaged album should be turning up any day now. The first single will be "Meanwhile In Hollywood..." and that's getting released as soon as we can come up with a video we're happy with. Should be able to put a version of the single up on MySpace shortly...
Speaking of the album, we get a lot of frustrated questions about when the album's actually gonna be released but at the moment we can't give you a release date. Stuff takes time in the world of Elle Milano, a long, annoying time, and we get frustated as much as anyone else. The truth of the matter is we've had to do everything the long, hard way, and have not been given any leg-ups, short cuts, or major label money etc. This is for the best in the long run, but requires some serious patience!
Just so you know.
Also, we have some real nice gigs coming up, we've been added to the Artrocker Annual Festival bill at the last minute - thats this Friday (18th) at the Buffalo Bar, London. Coming up, we're playing at the funky/fresh/happening Old Blue Last in Shoreditch (Jan 22) then we've got a gig with our Brighton lovers Heels Catch Fire and Maths Class (Pressure Point - Jan 29). Get on that.
Thats about it for now I think... Oh take a look at this
Probably the only people to tip us for 2008, which is nice of them.
And since you ask, my favourite album of 2007 was "Puzzle" by Biffy Clyro, and no I didn't see that coming either!?
ByeBye.
